Served Meals – ala carte (sit-down, served style)

Buffet Meal

Served Meals can be: 

1) Salad + Main Entrée + Dessert; Salad + Main Entrée; Main Entrée + Dessert; Main Entrée only; Salad Entrée.

2) Select your choice(s) and contact Catering (808-675-3348 or catering@byuh.edu) to place your order.

3) The Main Entrée price includes Starch, Hot Vegetables, Roll & Butter, Punch & Water.

 

Buffet meals are:

1) 1 or more Salad(s) + 2 Main Entrees + Dessert (optional)

2) The dishes listed below are available for buffet meals, but they are not the prices for a buffet meal. Select your choice(s) and contact Catering (808-675-3348 or catering@byuh.edu) for a correct price quote.

3) Buffet lines are open until all guests have eaten or until the program or speaking, part of the event begins.

Full-Service Catering

Full-Service Catering involves the Catering staff setting your tables with tablecloths and providing meal service with china, silverware, glasses, etc. Meal service can be served, sit-down service OR buffet style

THREE (3) WEEKS IN ADVANCE.

HOW TO ORDER: 

In Person:  9am-4pm, Monday thru Friday at the Catering Office in the BYUH Cafeteria

By Phone:  808-675-3348.

Order Information:

 

Catering needs to know: 

1.      WHAT your event is and type of meal (breakfast, buffet, reception, etc.)

2.      PURPOSE of your event (work meeting, program with speakers, performances, etc.)

3.      WHEN & WHERE your event is (day, date, time and location)

4.      COUNT – how many are attending your event (the expected meal count)

5.      BUDGET - HOW much do you want to spend?

6.      TIMELINE of your event (is there a program? entertainment? speakers?)

Meal Service:

SERVED MEALS: An ala carte menu is provided from which you select your salad, main entrée, and dessert. Each dish is priced separately. The main entrée price includes a starch item, hot vegetables, roll and butter and beverage. One full meal (salad, main entrée, and dessert) per person.

 

BUFFET MEALS: For buffet meals, please identify your preferred dishes and contact Catering for a price quote.

Buffet lines are open until all guests have eaten or until the program or speaking, part of the event begins.

Special Requests:

Please advise Catering of any special requests for meal service, such as food allergies, diet restrictions, etc.

Final Meal Count:

A final meal count is due one week prior to your event.

Billing:

 

The final bill will be based on the final meal count OR the actual number of guests at the event, whichever is greater. 

Leftover Food:

For food safety purposes, there will be no take out of any leftover food from any event, whether served, sit-down or buffet.

Linen Prices:

52 X 114 tablecloths (for 6- or 8-foot banquet or rectangle tables): $4

87 X 87 tablecloth (square for 5- or 6-foot round table): $4

Tablecloths available in White or Champagne.

Napkins, various colors: 40¢

Linen orders should be placed three (3) weeks in advance of the pickup date.

Payment:

Approved University Account Number, VISA/MasterCard credit or debit card or CASH. State sales tax applied. Card payments can be made by phone.
