"This experience (class) has been wonderful for me and I am so happy that I had the opportunity to fine-tune my skills through this program. I would not trade my job for the world. I love it and I love the experience I am receiving here at BYU-Hawaii. I know that these experiences will prove useful later in life and I have BYU-Hawaii Food Services to thank for it."
Brinn Granat,
Scholarship Recipient of the Food Services Leadership Program
Students who enroll in the program
"I strongly encourage student employees to attend this program - it is in their best interest and ours.
Students who have attended the class gain a breadth of experience from a select group of professionals whose main interest is to enhance the leadership skills of each participant. In return, participants are empowered as student leads, student supervisors and/or students managers in all areas of Food Services.
It is a remarkable program and a wonderful opportunity for you. Get involved, become a part of an outstanding team of leaders!"
David Keala,
Director of Food Services
"It has been a wonderful experience being involved with the Food Service Student Leadership Program. As a trainer for the University, it has been my goal to help train our student employees to be well prepared as they enter the workforce. This course does just that.
I see the excitement and enthusiasm in the faces of student employees participating in this program. It has helped build their confidence and supervisory skills. I feel the combination of training and work experience will definitely give them an edge.

Human Resource Dept. Trainer
